The children liked animals. They chose books to read that contained pictures of animals and enjoyed playing with toys of animals. They wanted me making sounds of different animals and made me repeat the sounds over and over. They also enjoyed pulling items out of the trays, buckets, and containers. They always grabbed and removed sticks and fabrics that were sticking out of boxes, plastic jars, and from the walls. This activity was to help the children do what they enjoy creatively. No matter how hard they remove it from the board, this activity was made for that purpose, so the materials didn't get destroyed that easily. The children were able to use their gross and fine motor skills effectively through this activity and didn't have to try to remove the tapes on the wall.
